MONGOLIAN BOXER ON THE WAY TO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
D. Lkavga, the former champion of the WBA, will make his preliminary bout for World Champion in Ulaanbaatar on 27th June, 2000. The same data, one year ago, when D. Lhagva , who became Mongolia's first ever world title holder, unseated three time WBA title holder Takanori Hatakeyama in a fifth round with a knockout to capture the super feather weight title in Tokyo. His opponent will be a champion of the Latin American 58 kg section. But for now the opponent's name is unclear. The Latin American champion title holder, E. Zepeda, has not yet held his bout to defend his title.

SUCCESS OF MONGOLIAN SUMO WRESTLERS
A professional Sumo wrestling match, which lasted for 15 days, finished in Kokugikan Palace in Tokyo on May 21. Mongolia's N. Tsevegniyam ended the tournament with seven wins and eight losses. Kyokushuzan (eagle title) D. Batbayar ended with five wins and ten losses.

Incidentally, Kyokushuzan D. Batbayar and P. Buyankhishig will be wed at Park Hakozaki Royal Hotel in Tokyo on may 27. Many prestigious Mongolian citizens, such as Government officials and company presidents, have been invited to attend their wedding.
